We leave for a 5 week holiday on 14th September.  3 nights in Boston then a trip round New England.  On to New York and back via QM2.

My question is what's the best way to get from Boston airport to town centre hotel (the Hyatt)?

Apart from the Freedom Trail what do people recommend for a day out in Boston?

Take the "T" (commuter rail system) Green Line to the Prudential Centre, entering the centre at the Huntington Entry. Spend a little while browsing the spectacular shopping (if liked!) have some lunch and then visit the Skywalk Observatory on the top floor of the Prudential Tower, for a spectacular view of the whole of Boston and the huge Christian Science Church building right next door.  If they ever re-open it, the John Hancox Tower (opposite, access via the Copley Footbridge) also gives a spectacular view of the city.

Just returned from Boston.  We found the easiest way to and from Logan Airport was by Taxi.  Much easier than public transport especially with luggage.  You might like to visit USS Constitution and Bunker Hill.

Thanks, I suspected that myself.  Good to have it confirmed.    J

Thanks, Greg.  We'll try that one out.  I'll go for the shopping, my husband is a keen photographer so it will be panorama shots from the top for him...    J.
