One of two Safari lodges operated by Taj Hotels and Resorts and &Beyond, The Banjaar Tola is located alongside the banks of the Banjaar River, overlooking the Kanha National Park of Madhya Pradesh. It is comprised of two camps made up of nine suites on raised platforms designed lightweight but elegant. Each camp has a comfortable tented sitting adorned with handicrafts made by local artisans as well as spacious dining decks overlooking the river and a pool. Interiors adorned with beautiful pressed bamboo floors and locally crafted furniture hewn from exotic indigenous trees and textiles in washed-out tones of green and saffron along with wide glass doors that open onto private decks with panoramic views of the wilderness beyond inspire a light and airy or an organic-like ambiance.
