I have just been to the Prezydent Hotel in the ski and spa resort of Krynica in Poland and can really recommend it.
The Prezydent is a five-star hotel by Polish standards (not sure about international ones) and I enjoyed two weeks there in a lovely room for £48 a night (including two meals a day), and it's right in the centre of the resort.
