A Yoga Retreat by the sea in South America...

Canal Om is a unique paradise located in Los Vilos. Los Vilos is about only 2 hours’ drive from Chile's capital, Santiago. 

As its strapline rightly says; Canal Om is a true Gateway for the Body, Mind and Soul. It is located on the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean offering unmatched views and landscapes... on one side the mountains, on the other the Ocean.  

I've attended two Yoga retreats in Canal Om. One was an Ashtanga Yoga workshop offered by the excellent Yoga Teacher Anne Nuotio from Finland and the other given by Gustavo Ponce, Canal Om's founder and mentor. Both workshops were truly amazing.

The place itself is designed to enjoy a good yoga practice with its purpose built Yoga hall and its carefully design landscapes and gardens. Also to enjoy the delicious food freshly made by its fantastic Chef Francisco using their own home-grown organic fruits and vegetables. 

Canal Om's concept is to offer a place designed for you to get in touch with yourself, with nature, with silence. Also a place to practice yoga with excellent teachers from Chile and from around the world.  It offers various therapies like talassoterapia (hot sea water), massages, Jacuzzi and more all there to help you see and perceive the world in which you live from a different angle...
