My wife and I flew to New York and joined the Queen Mary 2 to cruise to the Carribean last February for our Ruby Wedding anniversary.
Having cruised before we had a good idea of what we would experience. How wrong we were... This was the ultimate experience.
The upgraded seats on British Airways to New York were excellent. But we were not prepared for the luxuries of travel on QM2. This vessel is magnificent, the service on board is unsurpassed, the food in the Brittania restaurant and the Todd English restaurant was superb.
Our stateroom with balcony was spotlessly clean at all times and was amply sized. We renewed our wedding vows on board which was the crowning glory of our holiday.
We thought the value for money was incredible and as such we will be travelling to Southampton on October 12 to board the Queen Victoria to cruise to the Canary Islands to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday.
