Set amongst acres of olive groves and vineyards and Provencal hills yet only a short 2CV ride from Avignon’s bustling city centre’s lies the serene hamlet Domaine des Andeols and a 10-house blissful boutique bolthole with the ambience and comfort of an informal private home.

A mix of elegance and charm, Domaine des Andeols offers the best of Luberon and is a feast for all the senses. You can indulge in the taste of oil pressed from the olives of nearby trees and authentic regional recipes accompanied by a glass of wine form the Ventoux vintage.  Marvel at original paintings and photographs spread out in the houses and be enchanted by the Domaine’s breathtaking views.  With nothing to hear but birdsong and the occasional splash of water from one of the hotel’s swimming pools, you will soon see that Domaine des Andeols is the perfect place to unwind.  And for the final touch, we enjoyed relaxing at the House of Waters and wellness area where the smell of essential oils and lavender from the countryside worked their magic and soothed both body and mind.

For those with more than relaxation in mind, Domaine des Andeols can arrange a number of ways to explore the region, from helicopter wine tours and hot air balloon rides at dawn to hiking through hilltop towns.  In-house art exhibitions are the perfect way to while away the afternoon whilst marmalade lessons and wine tasting will allow you to take a taste of Les Andeols back home. And of course it is the hotel of Alain Ducasse, so the food and style are impeccable.
