This was our first-time Cunard cruise and the last. Staff on board Queen Victoria were unhelpful and sadly, gave the impression they were looking down their nose at us and we thought that waiting staff in bars were difficult to find!

Quality of goods on sale in the shops was extremely poor and shoddy in our opinion and there was lack of choice too. We thought the standard of entertainment on board poor compared to smaller cruise companies we have experienced. We thought the whole ambience on board felt 'tired' despite it being a new ship!

There was a lack of sun loungers on deck. We found that non-smokers took up seats in the very limited smoking area and then they objected to smokers being nearby.

The food quality was excellent though, as were the cabins.

Photographers did not take time to ensure photos were OK - many taken when object's eyes closed or not looking at camera - particularly disappointed at this as the photos would be the souvenirs of the formal events! I thought this was a very disappointing experience and certainly did not feel it was value for money.
