Ultra.travel is the premier destination for luxury travel and is the ideal place to research, plan, discuss and describe your luxury travel experiences. The site is a place for travellers to really share their tips, images and reviews of some of the world's best places, whether that's a romantic beach retreat, incredible cruise, or city secret you've sniffed out.

Everything you need to plan your trip

In our Destinations section you’ll find plenty of content from around the globe, describing countries, specific locations, hotels, restaurants and local attractions. Register on the site and you’ll be able to add your own reviews and ratings to these listings.

And if you think we have missed any of your favourites, just email us using the contact form and we’ll do our best to add it to our database – you can even leave a review at the same time.

Our Holidays section includes feature articles from some of the UK’s best travel writers, covering everything from spa holidays and city breaks through to cruises and premium air travel. We’ll be keeping the site up to date with a mix of new content every week, covering all types of luxury travel and experiences.

Experiences: the heart of ultra.travel

Once you have taken your trip, there’s nothing like sharing it with friends, colleagues and the wider world. Simply register to write your Experience, upload photographs (or link to them in your Flickr account) and rate hotels and restaurants you've been to. Your experience will be plotted on our master map and published for everyone to enjoy.

You can also share your thoughts, ask questions and benefit from other ultra travellers’ experiences in our Community section. Our discussion forums offer a wealth of advice and should be your first port of call for telling us how you’d like the ultra.travel site to develop.

The benefits of registration

You’re welcome to browse our website without registering, but in order to post your experiences, review attractions or participate in our discussion areas you’ll need to register. Creating your account only takes seconds and will also allow you to benefit from competitions and functionality only available to registered users.

Making your trip a reality

As a registered ultra traveller you can use our exclusive My Trips functionality to gather information from the ultra.travel site into a single place. The Add to my Trips button you’ll see on most pages allows you to set up new trips and add content to them. You can add destinations, restaurants, hotels, features and even other people’s experiences into your Trip to help you plan your travel. And you can plan up to 10 trips at once.
